1) Evaluate your progress/level of readiness in implementing the Social Studies Essential Standards.
  • By identifying where you are in the curriculum and instructional design process
  • By engaging in authentic learning experiences that will aid in the design of effective teaching and learning plans
  • By using the Non-Negotiables of a Concept-Based Teaching and Learning Plan as a tool to evaluate your instructional plans

2) Increase your understanding of developing concept-based teaching and learning plans of instruction.
  • By working through the step by step components of the teaching and learning plan process
  • By collaborating to create or revise a concept-based teaching and learning plan
